Terms of Service

Last updated August 21, 2026

The service

MyPayStack lets you create shareable invoices and payment request pages. We generate links and QR codes that point your customers to your existing Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle, and Apple Cash accounts. We do not process, hold, or transmit payments ourselves.

No payment processing liability

Because payments happen entirely within third-party apps you already control, MyPayStack is not a party to any transaction and is not responsible for payment disputes, chargebacks, failed payments, or fraud that occurs on those platforms. You are responsible for verifying you actually received payment before treating an invoice as paid. MyPayStack does not hold, transmit, or take custody of funds at any point and is not a money transmitter.

Email delivery

We send invoice and reminder emails through a third-party email provider on a best-effort basis. We don't guarantee delivery — emails can be delayed, filtered as spam, or rejected by the recipient's mail server for reasons outside our control. Don't rely solely on reminder emails for time-sensitive collections.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy of the invoices you create and for complying with any tax, business licensing, or other legal obligations that apply to your use of this service. MyPayStack doesn't provide tax or legal advice.

Prohibited use

You may not use MyPayStack to request payment for illegal goods or services, to impersonate another person or business, or to defraud anyone.

Account termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your own account at any time.

Third-party trademarks

Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle, Apple Cash, and Stripe are trademarks of their respective owners. We reference them only to describe how you can pay or get paid through those services. MyPayStack is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of these companies.

No warranty

MyPayStack is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We don't guarantee the service will be error-free or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyPayStack and its operator won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including lost revenue or unpaid invoices — even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the three months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which MyPayStack's operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
